Diamonds and Silver: Oliver Mann Music Video

Oliver Mann needed a music video to promote his latest album but didn’t want an earnest, hyped up rock video. This would have been at odds with his musical style.

I'd been researching the romantic lives of marsupials when we began discussing this project and Oliver liked the idea of portraying a possum on a quest for love. The style derived from looking at different forms of shadow puppetry.

I worked closely with Oliver to get the tone of the animation consistent with the song... “You have done a very wonderful job. You deserve a Palme d'Or...” The single is being broadcast on ABC’s Rage and on Youtube.
