Dogma Reel Characters & Environments

Dogma wanted to present their video reel in a format where interstitials would enclose the work in a contained, albeit abstract, narrative. Dogma wanted natural environments to feature and for the style to diverge from their mainly corporate work.

I created these characters and environments using virtual “found objects”, that is, textures and objects found online which are then transformed into something entirely new. I was happy to work on animals that aren't usually considered cute, such as a crab, a wild dog and an octopus.There are creepy touches: the crab has spider legs and scars are used for blinking eyes.
